Claudette Colvin Speaks at A Seat for Social Justice

Claudette Colvin was the first African American woman to refuse to give up her bus seat to a white passenger. She was one of the primary figures in the Montgomery Bus Boycott and provided her testimony to the Supreme Court in 1954, which eventually led to a ban on segregation on public buses. She joined WNY AmeriCorps for "A Seat for Social Justice" and sat down for a discussion with local storyteller Karima Amin..
