Nas said @ the end of his album that Hip Hop is dead, Nas just said for a gimmick so he can sell albums, just like his last album he made, he made such a big deal of what he was gonna call his last album all just for controversy.... Nas is old school and it sucks to sya but the new school is taking over evrybody has their time...

You guys took the words out my mouth, did u notice NAS, one of the greatest rappers ever born said that HIPHOP aint HIPHOP no more he said HIPHOP is dead!!!!!!!!!!! You just spoke THE fuckin truth.. Everyone you just named is on another level but dont forget about Andre 3000, Slum Village, Madlib & Nas. There's alot of other REAL MC's out here but they just get over shadowed by all the " Lil' Wayne's" and their millions upon millions of GROUPIES.

I said that to my dude the other day, he said i was a fake fan, but i put it as, i like the way he spoke to me in songs like this, and he is free to go his own way creativly but i think id like to rest on these songs and wait till he comes back to the way i listen to him. LUPE, COMMON, KANYE, MOS DEF, TALIB, MURS, BLACKALICIOUS. hip hop will never die theres too many people fighting for it
