Diane Lane would be too old at this point. I always thought Karen Allen looked an awful lot like Karen Carpenter, but she too is beyond the age. I can't even recall who played her in the TV movie... I was nine when the Carpenters first hit the charts and have love their beautiful harmonies ever since.

At first I didn't see a resemblance. Now that I've viewed the video twice, Diane Lane would be a great choice for a "Carpenter's Movie!"

What a beautiful voice, and she sounds so soothing and assuring !! I remember hearing this song after having seen "Jaws", and it relaxed me. Talk about contrasting entertainment !!

This is certainly my favourite. Karen had such a pure, other worldly voice that no singer has come near to. When I listen to her I am transported on an emotional journey and I feel the joy and the sorrow she sings about. Karen, these tributes are a proof that you are loved and missed, even now. When I hear your voice after my own passing, I know I will be in heaven. God bless!

This was the best of all their recordings & it launched me into being the Carps addict I am still 2day. This came from the LP Horizon which is still (in my humble opinion) the best LP ever released next to Voice Of The heart. I often wonder what K & R would sound like 2day. The sound of the Carpenters....the sound of your heart. REAL music REAL songs = The Carpenters
