Oh honey I'm not arguing with you. I agree completely that all religion is a corrupt process that is all meant to control the masses. All I'm saying is that it's nice that for once a band is focusing on what humanity has done correctly rather than highlighting all our faults.

SAVEPLANET, Are you talking about Josephus? If you are, he is the main historian that was alive when Jesus lived. And we all know you have no apparent reasonable, factual, or personal reason for your beliefs. You can stop repeating the same thing in every post. It would be nice you if answered some of the other questions asked,

This was on the Naked Archeologist the other day. Jesus is only mentioned in 2 places ever discovered, the Bible and one reference to him by Flavius Josephus. The Josephus refernce is widely recognized as being added later. It is accepted as forgery by all sides of the debate. It didnt fit with anything Josephus wrote. He despised all the "messiahs", there were a ton of them in his lifetime.

Historians have proved that Jesus existed, it's been documented as real fact AND there's been evidence of his existence. The issue isn't whether or not a man named Jesus existed, it's an issue of whether or not He really did perform miracles, and really is the Son of God. Also, the only "historians" who could have recorded this event were the ones close to Jesus - hence the bible.
