lol i gotta say ur funny, but u hafta give the weird vid some credit. its original!how many ppl woulda thought this thing up. its not some lead singing singing to the camera; its a comic story with originality. love it or hate it, it took a hell of a lot of work to create, so give it some credit. :P later everyone, add me :D

lmao i can see by the "-5" beside my name that all the messed up emo's out there dont agree with me. Barenaked Ladies music rox. But this video is demented, and anyone who enjoys it is likely disturbed. One more round of acid and lets watch Alice in Wonderland please lol

Yeah, but the thing the bean stalk grows out of does not look much like a bean... It looks like your typical plastic-capsule pill. Also, Real Life being harder than fairy tails good easily encompass drug use.

the whole video is about fairytales being so much easier than real life hence all the references to famous fairytales

I've often wondered if this song is about dealing with a relative who abuses drugs or something along those lines. The capsule going into the ground and sprouting a bean stalk kind of resonates this meaning in my eyes (in the video). Hmmm...

You can't please everyone chambusa...you like the song but not the video...sounds like it's still a 50% win for music.
