I practice Krav Maga myself. Personally Id stoop down, and push the barrel up and the opponent forward at the same time thus compromising their balance. Taking the gun straight off them, involves less movement and gets you out of the way of a bullet if it goes off. Oh and tried it loads of time under pressure testing and it never fails. Less is more!
