Yeah just buy it - I didn't even do any research, I used the FX1s at college and thought Oooh this is nice and I bought one.... dont regret it at all. Let me know how you get on.

I have the FX1 and the image quality in SD is better than the XL2. Not sure about the panasonic one but the FX1 is a great camera...

argh it would of been so helpful to know which camera was used for each of these, because I'm trying to decide which one to get. do you have an opinion, by any chance?
