I have a truck and am building a garden/farm/greenhouse/homestead.
I have gotten tires, lumber, pipes, chairs, 2 pairs of Sorrel boots, jeans... plus many 5 gallon buckets.
Also a 2 bikes, 2 scooters.
There is a pecuriar thrill and excitement about the process. You never know what you will find.
The Spirit leads often, to put me in the right place at the right time.

My brother and I found a 27" JVC left at the curb with the remote control and manual. When we got it home the picture didn't work so I unplugged it opened the back and discharged the picture tube. Then I googled the problem and found what to do and touched up an IC chip on the circuit board with solder. Cleaned, reassembled and it works perfectly. Better than my old 20" Sony Trinitron.

I found a old slushiee machine on the ground next to the dumpster behind the 7-11 by my house when I was out last week. It only has a dead compressor(the drink doesn't stay cool) and it leaks. But, I'll fix it up and get some mix and I'll be having free slushies!

I'm a righteous dumpster diver dude.
I get all of my apparel,
From the bottom of a barrel.
All my favorite music,
Someone else refused it,
My letterhead has many styles,
Because it comes from the circular file.
If it's in a bottle or a can,
Then I figure that I can,
Eat it all up,
Without throwing up!
I go to Campus every spring,
To look for all of the good things,
That people throw away,
Because they go away.

I am not ashamed that I dumpster dive. I have recycled so many things and used in my home. I found a nice newer 27" tv that was being thrown away it just had a low volume, I hooked it up to my home stereo..Perfect!! Construction sites have proven very resourcefull for building things.
