Thanks ToBeDisabledSoon. I was just hitting up my friends yesterday asking if that was Peter Dinklage. And I agree Station Agent is a great flick.

holy heck! Is that a young Peter Dinklage? I never knew he was in this video or more correct: I didn't know who he was when this came out. If you like him see "The Station Agent"!

I just so happened to want to hear this song, and it also happens that I speak Italian too.

The point where it's not clear what's happening the moment the midget falls from the trapeze. It's clear from the reactions of the onlookers they are seeing something that looks like a miracle; none of them are looking down, they are instead looking in amazement at something that is floating by them. This is not how they would react if the midget has simply fallen from the trapeze and hit the ground. This means something highly unusual happens.

My take is that what dies is his longing for the girl - all he wants is her and in the end he realizes he could never have her. This strikes him most strongly when he is just about to give her the ring and her lover appears from the wagon, his shirt off, something that magnifies his physical normalcy. Perhaps thinking this athletic prowess is what attracts the girl to the other man, the midget attempts to use the trapeze to prove that he also is worthy of her love.

Aw, c'mon people, this ain't church. That's all the world needs at a time of despair, another suicidal solution!

We're talking about flying midgets, not god.

cont....... "The word god is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honourable, but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish. No interpretation no matter how subtle can (for me) change this" Albert Einstein, in a letter responding to philosopher Eric Gutkind, who had sent him a copy of his book Choose Life: The Biblical Call to Revolt

Sorry, but is you that is incorrect. You hear him using the word "God" e.g. God doesnt play dice - but that doesnt mean he subscribed to any religion. it is well understood that he used the word "god" as a metaphor. for "nature" and for the wonders of the universe that are not understood. He was an athiest, and there are many examples in his writings where he attests to this fact......cont
