Bullshit! Great song for it's time! 1961 wasn't it. The great American days.

They wouldn't get any confessions if they played the James Taylor version as everyone, detainees and interrogators would be asleep.

More like Jimmy Jones wrote something crappy and James Taylor elevated it to a damn near perfect song. They ought to play this version at Gitmo for the detainees - I know if I were forced to listen to it I'd confess to anything.

More like James Taylor murders it. The original was an upbeat number, Taylor's version, like most of his stuff, is a cure for insomnia.

Not a slur on the late great shannon, but i kinda prefered this version.

I've never liked J.T's "cute & cozy" style.

Deliver me, Lord, from James Taylor! Jimmy not only originated the role on this tune, he brought some mojo to the thing--something JT never had. Ever!
