That is the way the winds blow in South Florida. They also wanted to be able to see downtown through the endzone. As the stadium expanded over the years, it created a great view.

The Orange Bowl has had 2 of the best college football games (84 Orange Bowl and 84 BC VS MIAMI) and 81 PLAYOFF GAME Btwn SAN DIEGO / MIAMI along with SUPERBOWL III and many other great games. Plus they always had decent crowds.

The plan for the site of the orange bowl is to bring a new merlins staddium. The stadium will be 555 Million dollars to build the new stadium. The city of Miami will pay $350 million from taxes. Since the town of miami will pay for most of it the Florida Marlins will have their name changed to the Miami Marlins.

why do dumb people like imac7065 should just keep their mouths shut. if you want to make fun of something then make fun of yourself or something. why did you watch the video if you didnt like the orange bowl! wow what an idiot!!! Long live the Orange Bowl!!!

damn monotone music in this video was as old as that crappy stadium. It needed to be torn down, it was the oldest non renovated stadium in america (even wrigley has had renovations!). The Marlins will bring the Orange Bowl back to life

It didn't burn down, it's been torn down. This week the last structures still standing have come down. There is no more Orange Bowl stadium anymore.
