best trained dog iv ever seen to go in atack mode and be called to calm down and he instantly does it that would be that hardest part, police dogs sometimes take a little force to get off cause they are just really unfocused at that time they just got one thing in there mind to hold the criminal, and rotties arent crazy they are just dominant two different things,

It doesnt hurt the dog... lol the dog goes into an adrenaline rush and he loves what he does... also he wont become shy if u really know how to boost his confidence ur dog has to be confident to be able to get it to be where the dog is in the video

I still dont see why you have to hit him. I was always told you shouldnt ever strike a dog if he will become shy. I am not a dog trainer but do work around dogs 40 hours a week as a Vet Tech. I have a rottie and would never lay a hand on him. He is a beautiful rottie though.

hiting is a simulation of the act, not true hiting. Also if the situation was real, probably the person would reply hiting and trying to defend, so the dog should be prepared to all the situations

I love how he stays right next to his owner's left leg no matter where the owner turns the dog is right there. That is really awesome. I dont understand the purpose of the stick and hitting him with it. I have watched dogs being trained for police work and I have never seen any trainer use a stick or strike the dog! That concerned me but he is an awesome rottie and very obedient.
